This is a course taught in
English, with special support to students wishing to develop their language
skills. It will deal with the concept of public management and its relevance to
organized welfare provision including social work and other kinds of human
services. The learning concept is hybrid in the sense that some sections of the
course will be organized as lectures while others will work via direct
interaction. Depending
on the characteristics of the group, some parts of the course may be hold in
German exclusively. The group will meet live four times during prolongated sessions: November 22, December 6, January 17 and 31.
