Form and force are two major factors in the understanding and designing of load bearing structures.

Form-found geometries are structurally efficient and therefore are often the basis of realizing elegant design in architecture.

The aim of the 4-day workshop is to provide a brief overview of form-finding concepts and introduce two interactive form-finding tools in Rhino/GH environment., i.e. Kangaroo and Kiwi3d.

On first three days of the workshop, students are introduced to the concepts and tools, meanwhile developing a design concept of cable-net /membrane/textile/hybrid structure. On fourth day of the workshop, design concepts are constructed in scale with Hemp wires/fabric on given boundary conditions.
