This course is aimed at those who have reached B2/C1 and are looking to
continue learning at an advanced level. Throughout the course
students will learn to express themselves accurately and confidently
in English by various activities including regular reading
comprehension assignments, listening activities, and small groupwork
assignments. Students will be encouraged to think critically and
analytically about a number of topics including creative thinking,
criminal justice, journalism and the media, law and society, reality
television, the global economy and fair trade, space exploration, and
the impact of human evolution and scientific development on nature.
