The course will examine poverty from the perspective of Behavioral Economics. It will focus on scarcity as a more comprehensive view of poverty. It will make a particular emphasis on the psychosocial dimensions of deprivation. However, it will put specific emphasis on the truly disadvantaged. Students should expect a dynamic seminar that involves discussions and permanent interaction with the tutor. Moodle will be a repository for additional material and related content.
