Business English B2 (FB 07), ab aktuellem und abgeschlossenem B2 (6 ECTS)
This class takes place in presence. There are weekly self-study/group-work units as well.
This course focuses on the strategies companies use in modern business world. Case studies, class discussions and different communicative skills will be used to explore the business world. Language skills will be improved through writing activities, as well as giving presentations. Topics discussed during class include: strategies in business, case studies of successful companies, company growth, business life cycles, management styles and business ethics. Current events and world affairs relating to business will also be discussed. Instruction and learning methods focus on training the four cardinal language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and on enhancing professional and social competencies. They include group discussions and group projects, individual and team work (e.g. individual and group presentations), role-playing, close reading and listening activities, interactive grammar and role plays.

Die Abschlussprüfung findet voraussichtlich in den letzten Kurssitzungen in Präsenz statt.
In unseren Kursen besteht Anwesenheitspflicht. Studierende, die aufgrund einer chronischen Erkrankung oder einer Behinderung nicht regelmäßig teilnehmen können oder auch für die Abschlussprüfung besondere Bedarfe haben, müssen sich bis zur zweiten Kursstunde an: language@uni-kassel.de wenden.
