The module aims are:

  • To deepen the students’ understanding of the role of different actors in the concepts of responsibility and sustainability that arise in a global business setting;
  • To familiarise students with the concepts and frameworks used in responsible and sustainable food business, the development of business principles for responsible food businesses, to meet stakeholders’ interests;
  • To provide students with the knowledge and confidence to critically reflect on responsible and sustainable corporate practices in the food business sector;
  • To raise awareness for different perspectives which provide contrasting and competing ways of making sense of responsible and sustainable food business practices.
