The lecture is devoted to modern statistical methods of Data Science and Machine Learning. The lecture covers both the mathematical theory and actual implementations of the considered methods. The required prerequesite for this lecture is a solid knowledge in elementary stochastics. Knowledge of the measure-theoretic approach to probability theory may be helpful but is not presumed. The programming language Python will be used for the practical exercises. Prior knowledge in dealing with Python is not required.
